Rustic Winery Wedding First Look | Rustic New Jersey Wedding Photographer

A first look is when the bride and groom decide to see each other before the actual wedding ceremony. Many couple chose to do this now because it gives them for flexibility with time during the wedding day. If they see each other first and get their pictures taken before the ceremony, then afterward they are free to enjoy cocktail hour and the reception without having to be pulled away from everyone when they are trying to enjoy their guests company.

I did this for my own wedding last year. I just do not like a lot of attention on myself so my husband and I say each other before our ceremony and I think it relieved a ton of stress because I knew he was there, lol and not standing me up at the alter and we were able to have a few moments to ourselves to enjoy and celebrate the real reason we were there, to be married to each other.

Most couples do this with just the photographer but some couples chose to have their parents or bridal party watch as well, from afar.
