Marianne went over and beyond what we were expecting from our wedding photographer!! Our wedding was last min and she came highly recommended by another friend photographer who was already booked for our date. So we took a leap of faith and went for it! She was so accommodating, and very professional! When I met with her she was very sweet and warm towards me and my kids! It's not ideal to bring small children to discuss business of any sort, but I was left with no other option, and Marianne made it work! I'm very greatful for that!! She held my hand and walked me through everything, explained everything to me... There was never a point where I didn't know exactly what was going on! I was already extremely impressed before the wedding day!
Wedding Day- Wow.. Just wow.. Her and her assistant did such an amazing job! Just to be clear the pictures are amazing but the relationship behind it is even better! Me and me husband were both so relaxed... It didn't feel strange or awkward.. She and her assistant Jess had us cracking up the whole time! (Made some pretty awesome pictures) she gave us great direction to get "the shot" and other times it was just us being us and she was able to capture that beautifully! Our wedding photography was one of the most important things to me in the whole wedding process. Marianne delivered. Her pictures are stunning, bridal-magazine/print journalism worthy. I will run out of wall space before I run out wedding pictures I want to hang. Not only was the final result exactly what I wanted, but Marianne was wonderful throughout the whole wedding process. Our engagement session was a great primer for the wedding day. And on the wedding day, despite horrible weather, her and her team figured out picture locations while being conscious of our timeline. Digital images are included with qualifying heirloom products, so you receive both something tangible to preserve and files you can enjoy on screen.

Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I technically learned how to take a proper film photograph while attending Monmouth University throughout 2000-2004 and while finishing school, I worked in a commercial portrait studio. Soon after, I started photographing weddings and babies while working as a full time graphic designer. When I had my first child, I decided to focus my time and energy on PHOTOGRAPHY & PEOPLE.
Q: How many weddings have you photographed?
A: I've photographed over 300 weddings as a lead photographer. Since there are only 52 weekends in a year, it is safe to say my weekends have been filled with love stories and late-night celebrations ever since I became a photographer 13+ years ago!
Q: Do I need an engagement session?
A: That totally depends on your needs. Most couples that book an engagement session use their photographs for their save-the-dates, website registries, guest books, framed prints for their guest tables, bar, and their house... and of course Facebook & Instagram! Plus, it's a way for you to get a little practice in front of the camera before your big day and it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other. :)
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are 50% due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final 50% is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do a payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer and I will make it happen.

I’m Marianne Bley—an Ocean County NJ photographer, certified art teacher, graphic designer and photography educator with more than 25 years of professional experience.
I’ve photographed more than 400 weddings and 4,000 babies, along with families, milestones and personal brands throughout New Jersey. That experience allows me to guide clients confidently through every part of the process—from planning and posing to selecting the photographs that matter most.
