3rd Birthday Portraits | Mommy’s Maternity | Asbury Park Family Portrait Photographer

If you have been following my blog for a while, then you will know Shannon because I have been taking pictures of her since before she was born. Her mom, Heather, is a good friend of mine who I used to work with at my first company. Her and I have stayed in touch over the years and I am her family photographer.

She asked me to take some pictures indoors somewhere of her daughter for her 3rd birthday and Heather is also pregnant with her 2nd baby girl so she wanted me to also take a few pictures of her belly and her with her husband, Ian. I told her that The Berkeley Hotel in Asbury Park has a bunch of big windows so we could still have some natural light to play with since it was too cold to be outside for the pictures. Shannon was not very happy about taking the pictures so we took a few quick ones, with Hershey Kisses as bribes, and then walked over to Convention Hall so Ian could show Shannon the stores in hopes that she would stay entertained. It lasted for a whole 5 minutes, lol. Oh, to be 3!
