I met Rachel and Sean several years ago and have photographed them as a couple, as well as, with their immediate families on several occasions over the years.

What is very special about this particular couple and session is that it is in celebration of their pregnancy and expecting their baby girl coming in May. Rachel and Sean had been trying to conceive for a very long time and I was so happy to hear that they had finally had their wish of becoming parents come true.

Since April is not the best month of the year for colorful backgrounds and foliage in New Jersey, I did a little digging and came up with a few ideas for their session. To my luck, Holland Ridge Farms opened for their yearly tulip festival on the day that we had planned to take their photos. I will take it as a sign from above that their session ended up exactly how I envisioned it: full of life, love and colorful spring blooms; the perfect fit for celebrating a baby girl coming into this world.

I am so happy for them and I am so excited to meet their little girl when she arrives in the next few days.
