Saturday, May 16th was not only a special day for me because it was my birthday but also because I had the pleasure of photographing the marriage of two of my friends, Lauren & Justin. It was such a special day for them and I was so honored that they chose to hire me to photograph it.
Their rustic spring wedding ceremony took place at the chapel at Allaire Village in Wall Township, NJ and their reception took place at The Grand at 1600 (formerly Vanity Fare) in Lakewood, NJ.
Lauren got ready for the ceremony at her mother’s house, where she grew up. Her father is no longer with us but Lauren did a fantastic job of keeping him present with her on her wedding day. We took portraits of her in front of her father’s truck and she wore a pendant on her necklace with his initials faced close to her heart.
Below are just a few preview images from their wedding day. There will be many more to follow over the coming weeks so if you like what you see, be sure to follow my blog by subscribing on my homepage.
A big thank you to my team: Veronica Yankowski, Jessica Cuevas and Kaylyn O’Connor for assisting me in making these beautiful moments happen.
