Below are just a few of my favorite images from the 2017 wedding season.
This season was a little lite for me because I had my son, Dax, in March so I did not take on as many weddings as I normally do.
Here is a cute picture of him that I took on my phone last month while taking a walk around the neighborhood.
This first image is one of my signature images that I take at every wedding. Kiana & Don’s image gets extra points because their ceremony location under a willow tree was simply amazing and
their rustic chic fall themed details were so heavily styled by the one and only, Feather + Rock Events. (Love working with those ladies!)
Sandy and Josh had a very laid back beach wedding right in Lavallette, where I live. Sandy’s family owns a home in town and they anticipate selling it soon so Sandy & Josh felt it was time to finally tie the knot after a long engagement and utilize the family home and all of it’s history for their celebration. It was a beautiful ceremony but the weather changed afterward and brought on heavy winds and a few rain showers throughout the rest of the day. The bonus – the really cool skies that we had during their wedding ceremony and shortly after for the family formal portraits and their couples portraits.
Susie and Rob actually eloped in Las Vegas, where Susie lived for 8 or 9 years. They did exactly what my husband and I want to do for a vow renewal! They went to a drive-through wedding chapel in a vintage car.
Susie and Rob had a formal ceremony and reception at McLoone’s Pier House this summer so that they could celebrate with their east coast family and friends.
Christine and Gino are a couple that I will never forget! They are so adorable together and they both had a daughter that they brought into their marriage.
They have insane chemistry & their daughters are SO stinkin’ cute together!) Their ceremony and reception took place at the Raddison Hotel in Freehold.
Kelly and Chris were married at Elberon Memorial Church and their reception took place at McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch. They have an awesome backstory because they actually met at a bar in Hoboken. The funny thing is, my husband and I always told our friends and family that we met at a bar in Hoboken but we never planned enough details to keep that lie going, lol! (We met online, on match.com!) The coolest thing – this church has an original, authentic Tiffany stained glass window!
Jen and Luke’s wedding is special to me because it was my first wedding after I had my son! (Just a few short weeks after) Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Lambertville Station Inn.
What a gorgeous location for a wedding!
Looking back on just a few images from this wedding season, I am reminded why I love what I do and I anticipate all of the new couples I will meet in 2018!
I am excited for a little break to finish redesigning my website and posting more useful content for my clients and other photographers.
Keep an eye on my website and blog for a ton of new and exciting things that are coming in 2018!
