My name is Marianne Bley. I am a wedding, newborn & branding photography specialist. My home studio is located on Chadwick Beach Island in Lavallette, Ocean County New Jersey 08735.
I am passionate about capturing life's milestones, both big and small, for couples and growing families and assisting them in preserving their images by creating stunning wall displays and tabletop heirloom products to grace their living spaces with the ones they hold most dear to their hearts for generations to come.
On October 22nd, Amy & Michael were married in a log cabin located inside Rutgers Gardens in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Their wedding day turned out to be a very cold and windy day with some mild rainfall but that did not stop these two from having an absolutely stunning wedding ceremony and memorable wedding reception.
Amy & Michael were such troopers! They braved the cold, wind and rain to have their portraits photographed throughout the gardens. We walked through several different locations and worked quickly to capture the romantic and colorful images that they had hoped for without keeping them outside for too long.
Their classic and romantic wedding style was perfectly represented from Amy’s convertable wedding gown along with a vintage stole to her bouquet, rich with warm fall colors.
“We met at Rutgers. We had a few mutual friends and started talking over Facebook, that lead to a date. Michael picked me up at the house I shared with girlfriends in New Brunswick. That is where we saw each other in person for the first time. We went to Harvest Moon (the location of the rehearsal dinner) on our first date.”
“Michael proposed on Christmas morning. It was our first Christmas in our house and each of our parents had given us their old Christmas ornaments and decorations. We were decorating the tree in late November and one of the ornaments I took out from his parents was his Grandmother’s and was a little knitted Santa face with a tag on it that said if you pinch the Santa’s cheeks you’ll get a kiss—you pinched the cheeks and the mouth opened and there was supposed to be a Hershey kiss inside. We woke up in our home on Christmas morning, just him, me, and our German Shepherd, Ozzy. We all opened presents and when we were done, because I was somewhat expecting something, I said to him, “Is that all?” He hinted I should look at the Santa face ornament. I went over to it and he had placed a new tag on it that said, “I’m all out of kisses except for one special treat, so close your eyes, open your hand, and squeeze my cheeks.” I did so and the ring popped out onto my hand, when I opened my eyes he was on his knee!”
