DIY Rustic Backyard Wedding | Ocean County New Jersey Rustic Wedding Photographer | Love Me I Do Photography

Emily and Justin were married in her parents backyard in Whiting, NJ. Her mom is really crafty, so we design and created so many really cool DIY details that were incorporated into their day. It was a hot & muggy day, but they even had a Cooling & Bug Station for cool towels and bug spray readily available. I loved all of the little touches that made this intimate backyard wedding one to remember.

Justin and I have actually know each other for about 16 years as he moved to Point Pleasant, NJ when he was 17 and we met shortly afterward a place that all the local kids hung out at in our town. We have always stayed in touch and Facebook as a lot to do with that. When my partner and I found out that they were getting married, we really hoped that they would pick us as their photographers as she had a prior relationship with them as well.

The ceremony was so beautiful. The officiant did a really nice job and they had a tree planting ceremony as their symbol of unity. I really loved that idea and plan to do that at my own wedding ceremony taking place in a few months.

Emily & Justin formed their own Indie rock surf band that is based locally in Asbury Park, NJ. They are called Dentist, check them out. They are awesome!
