Kat & Nick’s Summer Solstice Long Island Wedding was picture perfect! You might recognize this couple from my blogpost about their engagement session that was photographed in Central Park.

Kat & Nick’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Rononkoma, NY and their reception took place at The Mansion at West Sayville  in West Sayville, NY. They both grew up on Long Island so it just made sense for them to get married where all of their family was from. They actually had both known each other since they were children, they had gone to school together and shared a lot of the same friends but did not date until much later in life. I love hearing stories like this! It’s so cool to hear how so many couples knew each other for so long but never connected in a dating way until much later in life.

This was my first visit to Long Island and I hope to visit the area much more in the coming months/years. I really enjoyed my visit and all of the vendors that I had the pleasure to work with were beyond friendly. I am excited to share the entire wedding with you in the coming weeks…until then, please enjoy this preview of their wedding day.
