Michael Kew Book Signing & The Diamond Eyes | Glide Surf Company | NJ Event Photographer

Phil and Jess, owners of Glide Surf Co. in Normandy Beach hosted a Michael Kew book signing/movie premiere at their store on September 22nd for his film/book: Triptych, The Surfer’s Journal.

Everyone brought their own beach chairs and lined the sidewalk with them for the movie premiere. I guess the neighborhood was ok with it because the street was pretty much blocked off for the event. The movie played on a big screen in front of the store and afterwards, the Diamond Eyes played a short set for everyone inside the store. Ryan Lovelace, a surfboard shaper, was also there for the festivities.

It was really fun meeting these guys and jamming to The Diamond Eyes. I loved photographing this event. I’m looking forward to the next party that Glide Surf Company throws!
