My studio is now open and I am booking maternity & newborn sessions for 2018!
This space has been a vision of mine for a long time and the one good thing that Superstorm Sandy did was help make that vision come true.
See, my husband and I lost our home in Superstorm Sandy back in 2012 and when we rebuilt it, I planned to use a spare bedroom for a space to shoot and with all of the restrictions and new building codes I ended up with the best of both worlds. I can work from home but my studio space is not technically in my home.
The space includes a sitting area, a changing table, 2 shooting spaces and a product viewing area. It is a small space but I use it very efficiently.
I have built storage shelves in the hall to store my baskets, buckets, wreaths and other newborn props.
In the studio closet, I store all of my maternity gowns and outfits for client use.
I am so thrilled to be expanding and moving my business in this direction! I have always wanted to serve my wedding clients in another way after the wedding and maternity and newborn work is truly the perfect fit for me.
Nice Post. Thanks!
