On Sunday evening, I photographed Corinne and Jake’s romantic spring engagement session at Edgar Felix Bike Path in Allaire, NJ with the help of my husband, Mike who came along as my assistant for the shoot.
Sunday was a beautiful spring day and the sunset that evening did not disappoint. We met Corrine and Jake at 6pm at one of the parking areas along the path and we walked the path exploring the area for great light and stunning backdrops. We stopped several times, going off the beaten path and we found some really cool areas for their engagement portraits.
Their chemistry is so great that I really did not need to give them much direction so I just gave them some minimal instructions on posing and let them natural fall in or out of the pose to get their most candid expressions.
Corinne and Jake brought a few props with them, one being a sign that had their names on one side and their wedding date on the other. These types of props are great and encouraged so that you can have a larger variety and additional options for your save the date.
I hope you enjoy Corinne and Jake’s engagement session previews below! Corinne and Jake are getting married on September 24th on the beach in Point Pleasant, NJ!
