Sandy Hook Engagement Pictures | Love Me I Do Photography | Monmouth County NJ Wedding Photographer

Sabrina & Dave wanted to have their engagement session at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology or MAST that is located on Sandy Hook, NJ because Dave went to high school there and then we went to another favorite place of their’s, YESTERcades in Red Bank, NJ. I have always been intrigued by Sandy Hook. It has always been a little far away from anywhere I lived, but I have always enjoyed going there where it was to take pictures or go see a band on the beach. I dated someone years ago that also went to that school and sure enough, Dave knew who he was when I asked him. They are both such tall guys, so I thought it was a funny coinsidence.

MAST has so many awesome spots that can be great backdrops for pictures. It is surrounded by beach and water but also is full of history and has many historic buildings on its property. I am always told to be careful there because the buildings are so old, something might break or shake while you are walking or catch you off-guard so it is good to be cautious when on their premises.

Sabrina and Dave are so much fun. They are very playful with each other and it was a breeze to photograph them enjoying each others company and keeping their pictures feeling candid and not very posed. When we got to Yestercades, they were getting ready to close but they were so nice and let us come in at no charge to take some pictures quickly. Sabrina and Dave played a few games with each other and then posed for a few for us with the pool, table numbers showing their wedding date. It was really hard to break away form these too at the end of the session. I wanted to stay and hang out with them 🙂
