On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Jen and Brian’s stunning spring destination beach wedding at McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch, NJ. Although both Jen & Brian are from New York state, they currently reside in North Carolina and they were married here at the New Jersey shore!

Over the last year and a half or so, I feel that I have really gotten to know this sweet couple. Since they had met and booked me to be their wedding photographer they: moved 4 states away from home, started new jobs, planned their entire wedding from afar and so much more so I was extra thrilled for their special day to finally come.

The weather forecast called for rain but luckily, these two meteorologists (yup, these two BOTH have a degree in Atmospheric Science!) defied science and managed to have their intimate beach wedding ceremony and beautiful wedding portraits taken along the Jersey shoreline just prior to the rain showers commencing.

Their ceremony was filled with emotion, one of my favorite things that happened during their ceremony was the big hug that they shared after their first kiss that seemed to last forever. It was the sweetest thing!
