Mike and I picked our wedding venue last November!!! After a few weeks of constant venue stalking and emailing, we are going to be getting married at Perona Farms in Andover, NJ on October 11th 2013!
Mike and I could not image how cool this barn venue would be! We wanted to have a unique wedding venue and a wedding that incorporated some tradition with a lot of new exciting twists. When we first went to look at Perona Farms, we went to see their ballroom. Mike and I noticed the barn across the street and asked about it. The barn was not really advertised yet as it was just in the process of beginning a major renovation. The more we discussed it with our salesman, the more we knew it was our dream wedding venue!
We signed a contract without any knowledge of what we were really getting ourselves into. We put all of our faith in Perona Farms that they would renovate the barn based on the inspiration boards that they showed us and they assured us that they would be following the rustic wedding trends that are so popular right now.
I can not believe how far they have come! This venue is everything I could have ever imagined and more. I can not wait for October to come so I can marry my best friend, Mike, in this amazing venue. YAY!

I think this refurbished barn is the best thing to happen to NJ venues. My favorite events are rustic and they have captured that at Perona Farms. P.S October is a great month (my anniversary is 10/20….7yrs) Best Wishes on your special day!
