Rustic Engagement Session | Monmouth County Wedding Photographer | New Jersey Engagement Photographer

Lauren & Justin have been friends of mine for a long time. When they got engaged last year, I was so excited for them and had my fingers crossed in hopes that they would ask me to photograph their wedding. I was so thrilled that I was asked and when we started discussing where to have their engagement session, something just told me that Holmdel Park would be a good match when they described a rustic wedding theme because they have so many different areas in the park that make for wonderful backdrops and they have a barn that I like to shoot at.

We started discussing the shot in the winter/spring but we wanted to wait until the trees had started to fill in a bit more. We ended up meeting on June 8th, so by then pretty much all of the grass and trees were green and full. I love to shoot an hour or two before sunset because of the pretty natural daylight that you get when the sun is on it’s way down. It was a hot, muggy evening but the natural light did not disappoint!

Just by looking at a few of these images, you can tell that Lauren & Justin are very much in love. Lauren & Justin have known each other since high school and have been dating longer than I have known them (which is a long time, lol). Justin has such a good personality and is extremely funny. He makes Lauren blush and laugh so much and I absolutely love her smile and presence. He makes my job very easy because the looks on her face are just gorgeous! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I love spending time with the two of them.

I can not wait for their wedding next May at Allaire State Park and Vanity Fare. I know it is going to be a really beautiful day because these are both just the most beautiful people. I do not have to wish them the best because they already are and I know they, as a couple, will stand the test of time.
